1. General presentation of the company:The company was estabilished on the 01.04.2002 by separating the metallic structures sector and the steel repairing sector from S.C. SIDERURGICA S.A. Hunedoara and it is at present an entirely private owned company.The main activity fields of S.C. RECOMSID S.A. are:- manufacturing of unique and small serially metallic fabrications and of high complexity means of work;- manufacturing and mounting of metallic structures and component parts;- repairing of installation and equipment (mechanical and electrical);- fabrication of vessels, containers, packages and of other metallic goods;- fabrication of elements for handling and hoisting equipment and of other equipment for general use;- making and repairing equipment for metal-working industry, for building industry and for food industry;- setting up electrical and central heating equipment;- coating and painting works;- renting of building equipment and machines.2. Staff of the company:S.C. RECOMSID S.A. has 234 employees.Due to the complexity of its works the company has 18 welders qualified according to SR EN 287 by ISIM Timisoara and 4 welders qualified according to ISCIR standards for welding pressure vessels and lifting equipment.All the persons involved in the welding activity are coordinated by 3 welding engineers certified by the European Welding Federation (EWF).Also, our company has implemented and is working in the terms of the quality management system, after ISO 9001/2000, confirmed three the TsV Certificate No. 1210021286 TMS, she is also certified after DIN 18800-7:2002, three the Certificate GSIO SLV No. 431/05/E/RO.3. Indoor facilities:The total surface of the company plants is of 5600 m.p. and it is divided as follows:- Metallic Structures Shop (At.CM) is a hall divided into two bays and is endowed with 4 travelling cranes, 4000 m.p.;- Metallurgical Repairs Shop 2 (At. RS2) is a hall with one bay only and it is endowed with one travelling crane, 1600 m.p.;4.
